Additional Information

Keynote Speaker

Jane Chevako, MD

Dr. Chevako has given over 200 presentations and classes at the local, state and national levels.  By adding, costumes, humor, stories and poetry, these presentations are fun and memorable while still delivering on the significant content at hand.  Dr. Chevako enjoys public speaking and receives overwhelmingly positive feedback on her presentations.  To her patients and families, she is affectionately known as Dr. Jane.

People who plan on attending the Kinesiotaping workshop need to bring scissors and the presenter suggests having shorts and tank tops or sports bras, etc., to wear, because the participants will be practicing on each other or themselves.

To make hotel reservations at the Crowne Plaza, call 1-907-433-4100, no online registration available, and mention the Alaska School Nurses Association group block code (SNA) for April 5-7th.  The rooms should be $99 per night. It is recommended to book your room prior to March 15.

The event offers "up to" 15.0 contact hours. Contact Hours will only be given if all the classes for that day have been attended.  If any portion of that day is missed, Contact Hours for that day will not be received.

Conference Refund and Cancellation Policy - Any cancellation will be assessed a $25 fee. If ASNA receives notification of cancellation via email or phone on or before March 22nd, 2019 a refund less the cancellation fee will be provided.
