Nursing the Earth Back to Health-APU

My name is Su Chon and I am the Civic Engagement Coordinator with Alaska Community Action on Toxics.

We are hosting a breast cancer prevention lecture discussing the link between environmental contaminants and breast cancer and ways to prevent breast cancer. It will take place at the APU Atwood Rasmuson Hall on May 10th at 6:30pm.

"Nursing the Earth Back to Health; Preventing Breast Cancer at the Individual, Institutional, and Community Level" will feature special guests Katie Huffling, RN, MS CNM, Executive Director the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments & Catherine Dodd PhD, RN, Consultant, Health Systems. We are excited to be hosting them as they are nationally recognized leaders and highly respected nurses for the work they do. The Alaska Run for Women is also co-sponsoring this event.

Sincerely,

Su Chon
