This activity is designed to change physician and clinical competencies, practice performance, and improve patient outcomes in the following ways:
1. Attendees will better understand what telepsychology is, its history in the state of Alaska and the advantages/disadvantages of telepsychology.
2. Attendees will have increased knowledge of how to build rapport with telepsychology patients as well as the professional considerations, ie HIPAA demands, informed consent, etc.
3. Attendees will better understand what Autism is, what the treatment is in our state, as well as how Autism is affecting our state.
4. Attendees will better understand the advantages/disadvantages of being tested for Autism.
