The Alaska Brain Injury Network and The Alaska Training Cooperative are pleased to present this outstanding educational opportunity. We have an impressive line up of national and local experts in the field of brain injury and two specialized training tracks to choose from. This one-day intensive conference on traumatic and acquired brain injury (TABI) features national and local experts discussing concussion management, neurobehavioral aspects of TABI and screening tools. Participants will also hear from a brain injury survivor and her caregiver as they speak about their experience.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) through the providership of North Star Behavioral Health. North Star Behavioral Health is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for participation in this activity.
Continuing Nursing Education at the University of Washington School of Nursing (UWCNE) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
