The State’s Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion continues its webinar series at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. The webinar will focus on the Alaska Tobacco Prevention and Control Program's new campaign to support parents talking with teens about e-cigarettes and related health concerns. After years of declining use of traditional cigarettes among Alaska youth, there’s now a significant increase in e-cigarette use among teens. Learn how Alaska’s Tobacco Prevention Program worked with parents to help reduce e-cigarette use among adolescents.

The Section’s webinars are free and short — lasting about 20 minutes apiece, with 10 additional minutes for questions and answers and to explore ways we can all work together.
