It is time to register for the 2021 Virtual Spring Conference - 21st Century School Nursing brought to you through a partnership of The Alaska Nurses Association (AaNA) and the Alaska School Nurses Association (ASNA) April 23rd-25th, 2021. This is just like our traditional three-day conference, but this year we are going VIRTUAL! We wanted to make sure we reach School Nurses across the state of Alaska and we all stay safe! We are bringing you the most current information from professional content experts. The goal of our conference is to provide evidence-based continuing education for Alaska School Nurses, and we have so much to offer this year! Our speakers are covering many of the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) Framework for 21st Century School Nursing Practice topics. We will start with a learning review on Friday, 4/23 at 4 pm on how to use the Guidebook app, followed by Myth Busting Allergies, Updates on Concussions, Emergency Response in the School Setting, Change Management, Recognizing Sex Trafficking and Advocating, Social Determinants of Health, FASD through the Life Span, Updates on Vaping, How to be an Anti-Racist School Nurse, Pediatric Dental Prevention, Emergencies, and Oral Surgery, and much more! It is sure to be three days packed with great learning opportunities for all. You won't want to miss it!

The Alaska School Nurses Conference cost is $100 for ASNA Members, $150 for Non-Members. You can earn up to 16.25 continuing education credits if you attend all three days. Not an ASNA Member? Join ASNA before you register for the conference and you can take advantage of this year's amazing Member benefit of $70 off the conference fee! Student $70.70/year

If you sign up to become a member, and email in your paid membership confirmation to alaskaschoolnurses@gmail.com we will approve your new membership and you can then register for the conference and pay the ASNA Member cost with the BONUS this year of Members are receiving $70 off, as a ASNA Member, you will pay ONLY $30! This may take 48 hours, so please do so before April 20th, 2021.

We will be using a Zoom Webinar format to view and participate in this year's Virtual conference. We will also be using Guidebook, a conference app that organizes all the information in one place. The details will be emailed to you after you have registered and paid for the conference.
