Good Afternoon,

The American Lung Association is looking for schools or organizations that would be interested in participating in our Kickin’ Asthma pilot study.

Kickin’ Asthma is a school-based curriculum that educates and empowers children in grades 6-10 with asthma through a fun and interactive approach to asthma self-management. This program aims to help kids develop skills that enable them to improve asthma self-management techniques, increase asthma awareness among school personnel, and decrease emergency room visits.

I have attached a flyer on the Kickin’ Asthma program that goes into more detail regarding the program and pilot initiative. We currently have scholarships available for a limited time (9/30/2021) to train and certify Kickin’ Asthma facilitators free of charge ($400 value).

Please share this opportunity with schools and nurses! And let me know if anyone is interested.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Best,
