Dear School Nurses,
We are excited to be offering school health content to our Monday Project Echo series. You will be able to earn up to 15 CMEs throughout the sessions. You DO have to watch the session live to get the contact hours. (The sessions are recorded for you to watch later for your reference). According to 12 AAC 44.610 and Continuing Education Guidelines for RNs, LPNs, and APRNs [page 2(B)(1)] the credits we are offering for the School Health ECHO, AMA PRA Category I credits, have been approved for consideration by the Board of Nursing.
And as a reminder, to claim credits one must actually attend the sessions. You cannot watch the recordings at a later date and then request credit. You will have up to a week to fill out the survey after each session, please follow this link to reach the evaluation form: https://uaa.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_agzamyWR9YCsyMK
After you submit the evaluation, you will be redirected to another survey to enter your information and download a certificate directly. Please remember that participants must attend the session to claim credits.
Sincerely,
Barbara Pennington, State of Alaska School Health Nurse Consultant
Dr. Jeffrey Demain presented, "Asthma, Allergies and Anaphylaxis in School: Recognition and Response" on January 31, 2022.

The ECHO model gives participants the opportunity to take an active role in rich dialogue with the hub team (subject matter experts) and with their fellow spokes (participants) in an interdisciplinary teaching and learning environment.
The School Health ECHO series is focused on health considerations, answering questions related to Educational & School settings, and establishing a safe school environment during this critical time.
