ALASKA VACCINE ECHO Series Announcement
Our Vaccine ECHO for Providers series is now THE ALASKA VACCINE ECHO. If you were previously registered for our Vaccine ECHO for Providers, you will need to re-register at the link below.
UAA Center for Human Development Project ECHO and the State of Alaska Department of Health present 
The Alaska Vaccine ECHO, a virtual learning network intended for interdisciplinary clinical care providers involved in the distribution and administration of vaccinations to interface with a team of medical and education experts in Alaska.
3rd Tuesday of every month
2:00pm - 3:00pm AKST
September 2022 through June 2023
Each monthly session will include a didactic presentation followed by Q&A, and guided discussion or case presentation as an integral part of the learning experience. Over the course of 10 sessions, participants will receive up-to-date epidemiologic data on vaccine-preventable diseases, and can expect to increase their understanding of vaccine distribution and reporting infrastructure in Alaska, including key systems for vaccine management and distribution.

In her role as CEO and President of KidsVax, Seema is passionate about supporting vital public health programs nationwide by partnering with nonprofit, governmental, and public-private organizations on special healthcare projects, payer compliance, and unique initiatives, to enhance access, improve patient outcomes, and reduce costs. Prior to joining KidsVax, Seema was an executive at Accenture, a Fortune Global 500 multinational professional services company that specializes in information technology services and consulting. She earned her BS in Communications from Miami University. She and her husband, Randy, have two daughters. They recently moved from Chicago, IL to Concord, NH.
Continuing Education Credit
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the University of Alaska Anchorage Center for Human Development and Project ECHO.  Project ECHO® is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
AMA Designation Statement
Project ECHO® designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
 
ACPE Designation Statement
This activity will provide pharmacists up to 1.0 contact hour.  UAN JA4008231-9999-22-027-L06-P has been assigned to this Knowledge based program for Pharmacists. CE credit information, based on verification of live attendance and completion of the program evaluation, will be provided to NABP within 60 days after the activity completion. 
 
ANCC Designation Statement
Project ECHO® designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 ANCC contact hour.  Nursing contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of program components based upon documented attendance and completion of evaluation.
