In recognition of National Runaway Prevention Month, please join the U.S. Department of Education, the National Center on Homeless Education, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for this timely webinar focused on what school personnel can do to identify and support students who have left home (often called runaway) or are homeless. Our subject matter experts will discuss the Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs and the National Runaway Safeline, including the services these organizations can provide to students. Our panelists will share information on how schools can identify and engage young people who have left home or who are unstably housed or homeless and provide information about services schools can provide both to prevent and intervene in the family issues that sometimes result in a student leaving home or experiencing homelessness. At the end of the presentation and panel discussion, speakers will respond to questions from the audience.
