Last Call - School Nurse Mentorship Program - Message from State School Nurses Consultants

Posted over 2 years ago by Sonja Mack

Hello to all school nurses,

We have heard from several of you who are interested in either being a mentor to a new school nurse or, as a new school nurse, you are interested in having a mentor. However, for those who haven’t had the opportunity to consider, it’s not too late to be a part of this program that will run through the rest of the year.

The original post….

If you are an experienced school nurse who would be willing to mentor* a new school nurse or if you are a new school nurse and would be interested in having a mentor that would check in with you regularly, we are interested in hearing from you!

Mentorship requirements:

  • Mentor – 3 or more years of school nursing experience.  *Stipends will be available for mentors.
  • Mentee – 3 or less years of school nursing experience.

Please respond by January 13th, 2023, and we will reach back out with more information to be able to match mentors and mentees.

We love connection and the opportunity to learn from each other. We hope you do too!
