Alaska Vaccine ECHO 7th session: Getting Kids Up-To-Date Tuesday, March 21st @ 2-3:30 pm (AKST)

The Alaska Vaccine ECHO is a virtual learning network intended for clinical care providers involved in the distribution and administration of vaccinations to interface with a team of medical and education experts in Alaska. Each session will include a brief didactic presentation followed by Q&A, and guided discussion or case presentation as an integral part of the learning experience.

3rd Tuesday every month, from 2:00pm - 3:00pm AKST

Getting Kids Up-To-Date

Join us for an extended Alaska Vaccine ECHO session, featuring a didactic by best selling author and pediatrician Dr. Ari Brown, who will share catch-up schedules and strategies for improving coverage given the decline in vaccination rates over the last two years for children ages 19 through 35 months old.

 

Ari Brown, MD, FAAP completed her undergraduate degree in child development at the University of Texas at Austin, her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, and her pediatric residency and fellowship in developmental/behavioral pediatrics at Harvard Medical School/Children's Hospital Boston. She has been in private practice since 1995. She founded 411 Pediatrics in 2013. Her passion to advocate for children and educate families extends beyond the office setting. She is the co-author the bestselling "411" parenting book series and online platform including Expecting 411: Clear Answers and Smart Advice for your Pregnancy, Baby 411, and Toddler 411. She has appeared on numerous national news and talk shows including NBC's Today Show, Dr. Phil, and CNN. She is a trusted voice for children's health, serving as a spokeswoman for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Dr. Brown has received the American Academy of Pediatrics Lifetime Achievement Award for child health advocacy.
