Our Presenter: Kristy Chunta PhD, RN, ACNS, BC Dr. Chunta is a Professor and the Coordinator of the Doctoral Nursing Program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has formerly served as the Master’s Program Coordinator and Assistant Chairperson. Dr. Chunta teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs at IUP. She teaches undergraduate clinical with senior nursing students in critical care, telemetry, and in the emergency department settings. She also teaches master’s and doctoral courses that focus on professional role, teaching strategies, curriculum, evaluation, simulation and technology, informatics, and research. Dr. Chunta has provided numerous oral and poster presentations at many national and international conferences. She has authored and co-authored a variety of manuscripts on research, professional development, leadership, clinical, and teaching-based topics. She also serves as the Manager for the American Nurses Association’s Online Faculty Community and has provided previous ANA webinars addressing the unsafe student in clinical practice, surviving bullying in the early years, critical actions to position yourself as a nurse leader, successfully transitioning to a new role, strengthening your leadership skills, becoming a champion leader, and avoiding burnout and strengthening your well-being. _________________________________________________________ CNE information: Non-Members: This program is informational only; no CNE is being awarded.
