ASNA is seeking a President-Elect to serve on our Board

ASNA is seeking an interested and qualified candidate for President-Elect. This Board position can be appointed and approved by our ASNA board at this time since elections for this open position has passed. During the school year, our board meets once a month by zoom, so you can serve in this position from anywhere in the State. As an added bonus, you will receive compensation to attend the NASN Annual Conference summer of 2025 in Austin, TX!
Description of President-Elect Position:
The president-elect shall serve a two-year term, one year as president-elect and the second year automatically succeeds the office of the president at the expiration of the president’s term.
Purpose: To assist the President
Responsibilities:
The President-Elect shall: 1. Gain knowledge and experience about the duties and responsibilities of president in preparation for assuming the role of the president. 2. Assist the president with any duties and responsibilities as assistant to the president. 3. In the absence or inability of the president, perform the duties of the president.
