The Alaska Children's Trust Mandated Reporters Survey Request
Posted 12 days ago by Sonja Mack
Good Afternoon Alaska School Nurses Association Members,
Please consider completing the below important survey which will provide valuable information to the Alaska Children's Trust to help understand the experiences, perspectives, and needs of Alaskan mandated reporters. See link and more information below. Thank you!
The Alaska Children’s Trust (ACT) is the statewide lead organization in the prevention of child abuse and neglect. ACT is distributing a survey of mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect. The survey is now open and will take about 15 minutes to complete. ACT is asking that respondents submit the survey by Friday, November 22, 2024.
The survey can be accessed at: www.alaskachildrenstrust.org/mandated-reporters-survey
Collecting data on mandated reporters’ needs and perspectives is crucial to equipping Alaska’s mandated reporters with the knowledge, skills, supports, and resources they need to carry out their legal responsibilities accurately, consistently, and equitably. With the data from this survey, ACT hopes to work collaboratively with partners to develop and implement approaches to strengthen mandated reporting in Alaska, with a focus on improving training for mandated reporters and identifying opportunities for mandated reporters to connect struggling families whose challenges do not rise to the level of reportable concerns to community resources.
Thank you so much for your assistance.
